The InvoicesItems page is where you track the lifecycle of every bill sent from your workspace. Itsub-section provides acentral high-level summary of your revenue and a detailed list for granular management.

Invoice Overview

At the top of the page, four key metrics provide an instant status updatemanagement for your currentproducts workspace:and services catalog used across billing records.

Item Summary Metrics 
Top KPI cards display key catalog breakdown totals:

  • Total Invoices:Items: TheTracks totalthe overall number of invoicesregistered generated.

    product/service

Paid: The count of all completed payments.

Pending: Invoices that have been sent and are awaiting payment.

Overdue: Any invoices that have passed their assigned due date.

The Invoice List

The Invoice List table displays all records, allowing you to search and organize your data:

    Search: Use the "Search invoices by number..." bar to find a specific document quickly.

    Customizing Columns: Click the Columns dropdown to choose which details to display, such as Invoice Number, Customer, Date, Due Date, Amount, Balance, and Status.

    New Invoice: Click the + New Invoice button at the top right to start a new billing entry.

    Generating Reports

    If you need to export your invoicing data for accounting or review, click the Generate Report button at the top right. This will open a configuration window with the following options:

      PDF: This format is best for printing and direct sharing with stakeholders.

      Excel: This format is best for detailed financial analysis and editing.

      Once you have selected your preferred format, click Generate Report to download the file.

      Creating Your First Invoice

      To begin a new bill, click the + New Invoice button from either the Dashboard or the Invoices page. This will open the "Create Invoice" workflow.

      Invoice Details

      In this section, you will configure the basic identity and timeline of the invoice:

        Invoice Number: This is automatically generatedentries (e.g., INV-10001) but can be modified if you have a specific internal numbering system.

        Customer: Select a client from your saved database. If you see the message "No customers found," you must navigate to the Customers tab to add one before you can proceed.

        Dates: Use the calendar icons to set both the Invoice Date (when it is issued) and the Due Date (when payment is expected)20).

        TermsTaxable: Displays total count of taxable catalog items (e.g., 16).

        Highest Price: Highlights the maximum unit price recorded in the catalog (e.g., $15,000.00).

        Average Price: Calculates the average price across all catalog entries (e.g., $3,480.00).

        Directory Controls & Tax:Search UseBar

          Search items...: Global filter input for locating products or services by name and description.

          View Switcher: Toggle viewing modes between Table (list layout) and Grid (card layout).

          Items Table Data Columns

            Name: Title of the dropdownsproduct or service entry (e.g., Marketing Collateral Set, Landing Page Design).

            Description: High-level details of the offering (e.g., Design of business cards, letterheads..., High-conversion landing page design...).

            Unit Price: Standard billing cost per unit (e.g., $1,200.00, $1,800.00).

            Taxable: Badge indicating tax status (Taxable).

            Created At: Date when the item entry was added to the catalog (e.g., May 12, 2026).

            Row Actions Menu (...) 
            Clicking the three dots icon on any item row displays quick record management actions:

              View: Opens full item details.

              Edit: Opens the item editor to adjust pricing, tax status, or description.

              Delete: Removes the item from the catalog.

              Header & Action Buttons

                + New Item: Direct action button to open the product/service setup modal.

                Generate Report: Opens the Invoice Items Report export modal:

                  Export Count: Displays total targeted item records (e.g., Exporting 20 records).

                  Export Format Options: Allows instant downloads via Export as PDF or Export as CSV.

                  The New Item modal provides a creation interface for adding products or services to the catalog for invoice line item selection.

                  Input Fields & Form Controls

                    Name *: Required text field to enter the item name (placeholder: e.g., Consulting Hour).

                    Description: Optional text area to provide detailed item specifications (placeholder: Optional description).

                    Unit Price *: Required numeric input field to set Paymentdefault Termsitem pricing (suchdefault: as0).

                    "Due On Receipt")

                    Taxable: andCheckbox entercontrol theto applicablespecify Taxwhether Ratetax percentage.applies to this product/service (checked by default).

                    AddingHeader Line& ItemsAction Buttons

                    Line items represent the specific work or products you are charging for.

                    • AddingClose Items:(x): Click the + Add ItemTop-right button to adddismiss morethe rowsmodal towithout yoursaving invoice.changes.

                    • ItemCancel: Details:Outline Forbutton eachto row, you can choose a saved item from your catalog or enter a "Custom" one. Fill inclose the Description,setup Quantity (Qty),modal and Price.discard inputs.

                    • TaxableSave Toggle:Item: CheckPrimary blue action button to save the Taxablenew circle for individual items if tax should be applied specificallyentry to that row.

                    Totals: The system will automatically calculate your Subtotal, any Tax amounts, and the finalcatalog Total at the bottom right.directory.
